Meet the Chefs
Executive Chef Patrick Chmura
is the Executive Chef for Webster’s Bistro. He studied under Executive Chef Adam Goetz at Craving (located on Hertel in North Buffalo) as his Executive Sous Chef for 5 years. His interest in cooking began as an extension of his interest in art, and it’s easy to see by looking at his dishes that he’s inspired to create a work of art on every plate.
Chef Gabrielle Thomas
is the Catering and Events Chef for Webster’s Kitchen. She received her degree from The Culinary Institute of American in Hyde Park, NY. with many years of experience from Tucson, Arizona as the Sous Chef at the Flying V, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Sous Chef at the PY Steakhouse, Casino Del Sol Resort and the Ritz Carlton in Dove Mountain, Arizona. She brings a seasoned blend of skills and expertise to Webster’s Kitchen.
Chef Robin Kurss
is the former pastry chef from the famous French restaurant Rue Franklin. Robin brings her culinary experience to Webster’s Kitchen as she shares her expertise in making some of the restaurants delicious desserts.
Chef Marti (Martha) Marrano
is a third generation chocolatier. She grew up learning the family business of candy making and operating an ice cream parlor through Elizabeth’s Candies. In 2015, she launched a home catering business, Marti’s Catering Service, where she provides catered fare for up to 200 guests for local businesses and organizations.
Chef Debbie Clark
is the former owner of Delish Cooking School and Pastry Shop on Elmwood Avenue. She is currently teaching Culinary Arts, Baking and Culinary Medicine at SUNY Erie and is teaching culinary classes at the YWCA in Lockport for unemployed individuals looking to gain the skills for an entry-level position in a restaurant or bakery.

This evening of Art and Dining begins with a Sneak Preview at River Art Gallery & Gift’s 2018 Holiday Exhibit of regional artists. Meet silver metal clay jewelry artist Dawn Di Gesare of daVoria Jewelry and discover how she creates personalized gifts for lasting memories. Join us at Webster’s Kitchen to enjoy soft morsels of dough made from pâte à choux, known as Parisienne Gnocchi. Learn the secrets of making and shaping Bow-tie Pasta and Gnocchi with Chef Patrick’s demonstration and dining experience. Plus, BYOB (bring your own bottle of wine) to keep this evening of fun flowing. End the night with dessert from daVoria Jewelry family’s favorite Carrot Cake.
